| pt_BR |

dc.description.abstract2 | The theme of this study is the role of the Multifunctional Resource Room (MRO) in the process of including a student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The main research question was: what is the role of the MRO in the process of including students with ASD in a municipal school in Ariquemes? Its main objective was to understand the role of the MTR in the inclusion process of students with ASD at a municipal school in Ariquemes. This question is relevant because the SRM is a specialized educational service that offers support for the inclusion of students in the ordinary classroom. To this end, the study used survey research in a municipal school, with the participation of a teacher specializing in special education and working in an SRM. Interviews and photographic records were used to collect the data, which was interpreted using content analysis. The main results and discussion are: a) profile of the participant: the teacher is a pedagogue and specialist in special education with 12 years' professional experience as a teacher; b) perceptions of the specialist teacher: she highlighted that she attends to 48 students in the SRM, 34 of whom have ASD, and that this high number of students is a hindrance to developing activities with the students and assisting the teachers; c) evidence of support and backing for the inclusion process of the student with ASD: the SRM is organized with differentiated resources to offer activities adapted to the student's needs, but the teacher states that she does not have enough professionals in the SRM to attend to all the students. We hope to make a contribution to the field of inclusive education so that there can be significant improvements in the school's pedagogical project and the joint work between the teachers of the ordinary class and the teacher of the MTR. | pt_BR |
